This book has been produced collectively, with contributions from many people, of all ages. It is published under Creative Commons licensing terms, to allow anyone to make copies, especially of the digital version, and pass it on to others, on the following conditions: (i) non-commercial (copies can’t be sold above costs of reproduction), and (ii) attribution (authors should be acknowledged). Subject to these, derivatives are permitted, which means that changes, additions, translations, and multi-media versions are allowed, even encouraged. This is in fact normal for recipes, even celebrity chefs don’t claim copyright in their dishes, because everyone knows that food is for sharing, and knowledge and skills about cooking (and life) should be passed on through the generations.
